GUZZOFILMS / SITE INFORMATION

Privacy Policy

What the site provides

The site presents a public, TMDB-backed catalogue with an Irish cinema focus. A listing may concern a film owned or controlled by someone else; its appearance does not mean GUZZOFILMS owns, produced, or controls it. The app currently has no accounts, payments, marketing sign-ups, uploads, or app-level analytics.

Location checks

For restricted playback, the server asks ipwho.is to determine the requesting visitor's country from their IP address. The provider necessarily receives that IP to answer the lookup. The app is designed not to intentionally collect raw IP addresses in its own logs; it keeps the country result in a short-lived memory cache only.

TMDB and hosting

TMDB supplies catalogue data, and its image CDN is contacted when cover artwork loads. The TMDB server API key is protected on the server and is not exposed to visitors. The site may use Manus hosting, whose platform-level analytics can be enabled outside the app; we therefore do not claim that no tracking occurs anywhere in the hosting environment.

Local preferences

The app stores a cookie-preference choice locally in the browser: essential only or enhanced. Optional scripts are not enabled by default. This choice is intended to remember a setting on the same device, not to create an account or a marketing profile. See the Cookie Policy for details.

Playback availability

The native HTML5 player accepts only licensed studio-provided media. Missing media is unavailable. Full-film playback is restricted to GB using server-side IP geolocation; if location is unknown or cannot be verified, access fails closed. This is an availability decision, not a general identity-verification service.

Choices and contact

Visitors can change local preferences through site controls where provided, or clear browser storage. No working public privacy contact endpoint has been supplied. A contact method, retention details, and completed legal review must be added before launch; until then, this draft should not be relied on as a final route for privacy requests.
